We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our growing transport team and provide administratice support to the sales team, alongside ensuring stock levels and invoicing are accurately managed.

Key responsibilities are:

All administration duties relating to the sales process.
Obtaining outstanding documents to facilitate sales.
Processing payment requests via cheque or BACs.
Identifying additional sale opportunities by making direct contact with customers, Insurers and finance companies.
Manage and respond to correspondence from the DVLA pertaining to sales.
Management of depot stock lists and the removal on non-retained salvage from the depots.
Provision of advice and query handling for the Claims Teams with relation to sales.
Manage incoming customer queries generated from resale or payments.
Identification of reoccurring issues and trend analysis. Escalation to management when necessary providing recommendations for changes to processes or scope of project to achieve set goals.
Sign off specific supplier invoices relating to vehicle recovery.
Ensure charges are accurate and allocated to the correct Accounts nominal and claims.
Resolve any disputes that may arise between us and our suppliers.
Maintain SLA’s with invoice turnaround and payments.
Updating computer and paper based systems to ensure records are correct.
Working as part of a team, attending team meetings and contributing where appropriate.
Any other duties reasonably requested by Line Manager.
Skills and Experience:

An assertive, structured and positive approach to verbal negotiations and discussions
Pro-active approach to mastering detailed industry related processes
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Willing participation in the work of the team, providing additional help when resources are stretched.
Ability to manage own workload and that of others in a target driven environment
Be PC literate having a good knowledge of Word and preferably Excel
Have a good knowledge of the motor vehicle industry.
