We are actively recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Financial Analyst to join a large global company in stunning offices in Reading. Paying Â£45,000 – Â£55,000 and a good benefit package. This is an incredibly varied and challenging role that would suit a strong newly qualified accountant or with up to two years post qualified experience.
This role would suit someone with a strong academic background who is looking to make that move into a more analytical role or someone looking to lead a blue chip business wanting a more varied role. This position would offer someone a chance to take ownership for some really exciting projects; it is offering good exposure to development and marketing teams and could be a good stepping stone into a Commercial Controller role.
A strong Financial Analyst is required to join the existing finance team. Key responsibilities will involve supporting the planning process which includes weekly, monthly, forecast, budgeting and strategic plan. The key purpose of the role will be to business partner with the sales & marketing teams, as part of this you will be responsible for month end variance analysis, forecasting and process improvement. A big part of the role will seeing you having to develop the improved management reporting packs and engaging with the business. You will be the main point of contact for the sales team having sole responsibility of reporting sales performance across the UK business weekly and making improvements within the reporting. The successful financial analyst will be newly qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or be a finalist with two exams left/case study with advanced excel skills. You will be fully IT literate with a can do attitude that means you can work in a team. You will have good communication skills and be a self-starter. You must be able to confidently communicate with non-finance staff and have commercial awareness.
