Job Title: AV – In Store Development Executive – Medway
Salary: Up to £75 per day inclusive of holiday, up to £20 commission per working week + tablet
Days of Work: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Hours of Work: 23 hours per week

As an In Store Development Executive you will be the product specialist for Samsung’s TV & AV products, you will fulfil a unique and exciting role within the Samsung Field Force team based in a high profile consumer electronics store
As the face of Samsung you will to bring to life Samsung premium products in an engaging environment; demonstrating the unique features of Samsung’s leading technology and how this can enrich the shopper’s lifestyle.
Ultimately you will be responsible for driving sales performance in line with targets and own the stores performance from a Samsung perspective working closely with store colleagues and management cascading knowledge and identifying opportunities for growth.
This is a high profile position and you should expect to receive regular mystery shopping visits from retailer and Samsung senior directors.
Reporting on business objectives, sales, training and compliance standards in store is critical to the success of the brand and your role in store. As the ‘eyes and ears’ of the brand you will be expected to deliver time-bound, accurate and business focussed reporting on a daily basis.
You will follow Samsung’s Quality Standards guidelines, signing in and out of the store at the correct times. You will strive to deliver “Best in Class” service at all times.
Promoting our range of products to prospective shoppers, engaging and exciting shoppers through thought provoking and relevant demonstrations.
Create retail theatre within the store.
Ensure that Samsung’s strong relationship within the store grows and develops to increase overall Samsung market share in TV and Audio
Achieve sales target in the Premium TV and Audio product range (SUHD, curved Soundbar and Wireless 360 degree), maximising and developing incremental Samsung sales opportunities.
Additionally delivering a targeted AV attachment rate
Negotiate to gain incremental sales opportunities and increased presence in store
Utilising the Samsung demonstration areas as key selling areas within the store
Seek out sales data and utilises the information to continually drive performance
Develop key relationships with the store management, demonstrate knowledge of how the store is performing. Work collaboratively with the store management to drive store sales performance.
Establish training needs on the shop floor and act as conduit between store management and Training Team to arrange formal training sessions
Communicate key messages to all members of the store team, through training and brand awareness sessions
Work with store colleagues to ensure a high level of knowledge across the team on Samsung products
Utilising the Samsung demonstration areas as training areas
Integral to the success of the TVAV In Store Development Executive role is reporting. You will complete all required reporting on time every day
Reporting would typically include:
o A complete record of each day’s activity in store to include sales, display compliance, competitor and market share information
o Time-in and out of store
o Business-focussed observational reporting
o Training records updated and submitted, following each training session
o Record personal and store sales records
o Exceptional promotion/ad-hoc reports
Demonstrate an excellent and in-depth knowledge of Samsung product
Understands how the products fits together and how this can be used to support sales
Managing the Samsung display to ensure that it is always compliant to Samsung’s guidelines and is incorporated into the sales journey at every opportunity.
Store colleague knowledge levels are high ensuring they can confidently sell and answer customer queries when you aren’t in store
Demonstrate a clear and detailed understanding of direction and actions given by line manager or colleagues
Able to confidently challenge where appropriate and can do so in an effective manner.
Presents information that is concise, clear and specific demonstrating resolutions and actions to move forward.
Able to build relationships and manage expectations within those.
Professionally represent the Samsung brand and products at all times, feedback key business information.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
Ensure you adhere to uniform code at all times
Adhere to working hours, signing into and out of store, following the correct processes and procedures.
Continually seek out competitor activity and understand the impact on sales performance
Strive to continually update your knowledge, sharing this knowledge to educate store colleagues and drive Samsung performance.
Support promotional activity and store events – in agreement with your line manager this will include evening activity
