Your new role
You will be:
Supporting the delivery of strategic Data projects and programmes in the CADIS (MarkIT EDM) specialism.
Focusing specifically on:-
Driving the design, development, unit testing, code review, packaging and code deployment;
Delivering implementation aligned to the internal Data Strategy;
Leveraging market practices and solutions for data delivery;
Using expertise in converting business requirements to MarkIT EDM based solutions.
What you’ll need to succeed
Good education, ideally good degree and/or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. IMC, ISEB, Prince 2, Agile, CADIS, MS SQL Server, .Net).
Extensive experience of CADIS, MarkIT, EDM development (at least version 8.0, although exposure to version 10.0 is desired).
Excellent knowledge and experience of MS SQL server development (SQL Server, SSRS, Database Design, Performance Tuning).
Experience in delivering key data programs.
Expertise of full Project lifecycle and/or AGILE methodologies.
Excellent knowledge in UI work using CADIS (version 8.5 or higher).
Extensive knowledge and experience of MS SQL server 2008/2012 development (SQL Server, SSRS, Database Design, Performance Tuning).
Widespread investment management industry experience.
Considerable IT front office exposure in functions such as: Fund / investment accounting, performance, corporate actions, cash forecasting, P&L reporting, etc.
An excellent technical developer with a clear delivery focus.
Able to effectively manage a team comprising a mix of on- and offshore resources.
Comfortable working across cultures – locally, regionally and globally
What you’ll get in return
This successful Fund Manager are offering a base salary of up to Â£75k plus generous bonus and benefits on top of this.
