My client, based in Chelmsford, is currently seeking an Investigation Officer on a short term temporary basis, to conduct investigations on behalf of the client aimed at fairly and openly dealing with serious incidents and some complaints.
You will be responsible for:
Ensuring all interviews with staff are in line with current policies and notes of meetings are taken as evidence in an open and transparent manner.
Gathering all information required to conduct a detailed investigations and to provide objective and accurate conclusions.
To actively participate in the post incident reviewprocess and attend multidisciplinary team meetings as appropriate.
Produce letters or reports on behalf of the client in readiness for approval and sign off.
Provide verbal feedback to service users or complainants in response to their complaints/concerns and where appropriate resolve any remaining concerns following receipt of their response letter.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Be degree qualified or equivalent to CIPD qualification in identifying training needs, design, delivery and evaluation of appropriate and training interventions
Have previous experience within an investigation capacity
Excellent communication skills
Be empathetic, with the ability to deal with distressed and highly emotive individuals
The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
IT literate in Microsoft Office
You must be available for an immediate start.
