***£55 – £60 per day
To be successful in your application you must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, driven individual who has experience working with Primary aged children and at least received a 2:1 in your degree. We want to recruit a graduate who has the skills to motivate and inspire a class of mixed-ability pupils who can on occasion be inclined to lose interest if not fully engaged. You should possess the capacity to build excellent relationships and a firm belief in the importance of hard work and learning. You should be able to provide a supportive, safe learning environment where all your pupils feel cared for.
As a Teaching Assistant at this school you will be supporting one of the classroom teachers in Year 6. You will involved in all aspects of the school day, including general classroom support during lessons, individual 1:1 support, SATS guidance, preparing the classroom, lunchtime duty and after schools clubs. It is a school and role that will really get the best out of you and fully prepare you for your teacher training. The Headteacher has utilised graduates to great effect in recent years and you could be another of her success stories.
