This Marketing Manager role is for a leading Property and Construction company who are looking for someone to come in on an interim basis.
As a Marketing Manager for a leading property and construction business your responsibilities will include:
Advise the Regional Sales and Marketing Director on the most cost effective methods of achieving overall marketing objectives and generally develop a greater awareness in the Region of the needs and aspirations of our target market.
Draw up a regional marketing plan setting out aims, strategy and tactics for all developments, both current and planned, and submit to the Sales and Marketing Director. Any recommendations for improvements during the life of the developments should also be submitted at the appropriate time.
Provide recommendations of areas for possible land purchase and generate leads for Land Buyers by providing Land Buyer support to the Land Department as required.
Draw up Sales and Marketing plans for sites purchased covering pricing, density, specification, mix, competition and projected sales rates.
As required, assist Regional Management in obtaining planning permission through tactical use of PR.
Ensure adequate levels of market research is undertaken to include monitoring results of consumer and resident surveys making recommendations as appropriate.
Develop and promote the Corporate Public Relations policy throughout the Region in conjunction with Head Office Sales and Marketing and outside agencies as designated.
Set clear and ambitious objectives for the team and support the team to help achieve them
Empower employees to take responsibility, delegates where appropriate and provides regular feedback
Lead employees through performance management processes through goal setting, feedback and performance development planning
To be a success in this Marketing Manager role you will need the following:
Substantial marketing related experience is required at this level. This will include use of market research techniques, working with external agencies, PR work, and report writing and the development of communication skills.
The job holder will have had previous experience of managing a team/leading projects with a demonstrable record of achievement
Experience of producing detailed, precise written briefs for management and third parties which has resulted in effective action
Knowledge of Property Misdescriptions Act, Data Protection Act, Code of Advertising and Sales promotion and how they apply to our industry
Demonstrated use of cost effective market research to support plans for action/campaigns
The role is offering between Â£40,000 and Â£45,000 (depending on experience)
