Our client based in Central Watford is looking for a HR Manager who can lead a small team across two continents. They are one of the fastest growing companies in their sector and have established teams both in the UK and US. They offer fantastic rewards and recognition to staff and are aware that a happy team is an effective team. Longevity is a term often used with this company as they retain staff and always welcome back former employees.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked within the Technology Sector, preferably a Software Company, as this will enable them to understand Organisational Charts within the business quickly. You will need to take on a small team, helping support them while implementing new company policies and procedures. Even though they are an established firm a candidate who has worked in start-up businesses would be highly beneficial.
Implement new Organisational Charts
Create Bonus Structures
Update existing Company Policies and Procedures
Day-to-day management of the HR Operations team
Managing performance and conduct
Dealing with a formal performance review meetings
To deliver an inspiring on-boarding process with an ongoing objective of continuous improvement
Ensure the company is adhering to HR processes
Support the HR Business Partners in delivering an excellent service to the business
Ensure that the company’s pre-employment screening requirements are strictly adhered to
CIPD Qualified or working towards
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Well-organised, a keen eye for detail and proactive approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Understanding Organisational Charts within Software Industry
Good experience of using social media for business purposes
Strong people skills
A desire to build a career in HR, with a view to progressing to Executive level
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a true team-player
Experience of managing a team
Experience of working with major stakeholders
Ability to travel at short notice to US office
Flexibility in working location
Have a hands approach to working
Monday – Friday 8am – 5:30pm
