The E-Commerce Supply Chain Manager A key role which who will develop and lead the operational management of the E-Commerce business. The position will be a key interface between sales, operations and the customer. The role will be fully responsible for service delivery and fulfilment ensuring the customer has a first class experience. Excellent communication, leadership and ability to develop a long-term plan for service development and customer experience.
Lead the Ecommerce fulfilment operation through the entire supply chain (from the order placement to customer delivery)
Develop operational processes, ensuring systems, processes and procedures are integrated and enable the E-Commerce operation to grow revenue and activity substantially in both domestic and international market
Develop, lead and manage the performance of a small but significantly increasing team E-Commerce operators
Ensure the operation has the capability to deliver a consistent level of high service during periods of promotional and seasonal demand
Deliver operational budget and performance targets
Manage third party logistics ensuring best value and delivery performance
Be the Company expert on E-Commerce fulfilment and logistics communication of operational performance
Continually improve service delivery and profitability ensuring performance and activity is benchmarked against competition and industry best-practice
Develop operational KPI’s and communicate performance which will allow the business to measure service delivery and benchmark against best-in-class.
Proven leadership experience and a track record of delivering results
Understanding of developing and leading a dynamic and growing E-Commerce operation
Change management experience specifically in process and systems development and implementation
Experience of successfully managing revenue and activity growth in a fast-paced E-Commerce environment
Experience with E-commerce platforms – Magento/SAGE/EDI
Ability to build relationships across all levels, communicate effectively and work with cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
Have an external focus and ensure industry best practice is incorporated into the Company’s operation
