Marketing Manager – The City, London – up to Â£40,000 + Bonus. The Ashdown Group have been engaged by a leading professional services organisation to assist them in their search for a Marketing Manager to join their successful team, based in central London.
The focus of this role is to develop and implement the divisional marketing strategy. This innovative organisation is looking for an experienced marketing manager to come on board who can deliver a broad spectrum of marketing initiatives.
This is an URGENT vacancy and as such you must be available to interview at short notice.
To be considered for this position, you must have worked within a professional services organisation delivering B2B and B2C marketing strategy. Finance industry experience would be particularly advantageous, but is not essential. You will need to be enterprising and entrepreneurial with a solid understanding of digital, email and event marketing with particular understanding of results analysis, analytics and ROI.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns and events for both services and tangible products, including subscriptions, seminars, journals, e-learning, and information products delivered by traditional and electronic media.
Additionally you will have experience planning and implementing campaigns to increase web traffic through SEO, social networking sites and email newsletters, as well as increasing the size and reach of the social networking audience via relevant activity. You will be digitally literate, with good knowledge of Google Analytics and capable of creating and delivering social/ digital media strategies.
You will understand and cope well within a high-visibility, high-pressure environment. With this in mind, the suitable candidate will possess strong marketing strategy and planning skills, SEO, email platform, web and data skillsets and strong B2B copy writing skills.
The ideal candidate will be tenacious, flexible, driven and passionate about effective communication, who thrives in high pressure, unsupervised environments. You will show solid commercial judgement and awareness of the need for profit.
It is expected the candidate will be educated to degree level, with CIM marketing qualification or equivalent.
