This is a 3 month internship paying £1,100 per month with the intention of converting to a permanent job. You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
A world renowned rehab clinic treating both alcohol and drug addiction with operations in Scotland, Ireland, Holland and now opening in England.
How can you expect to spend your day?
You will join the company to help with the UK launch of the business from their London location. This is an exciting opportunity to join such an established company, established in 1988, yet be involved with the launch of a new office and operation for the company.
In this role you will support the managing director of the London office across marketing, business administration and logistics.
Full training will be provided.
Tasks you can expect to learn about and undertake include:
Develop a strong understanding of the company tone and marketing strategy to date.
Contribute to writing clear and concise copy for the company website about the UK launch.
Help produce a range of content for the company marketing strategy which will involve both B2B and B2C marketing messages.
Be a point of contact for potential new clients who will make contact from time to time through email or telephone.
Help administer the company contact database, tidying it up where necessary and ensuring it’s as up to date as possible.
Help with the business development strategy which will involve identifying and contacting psychiatrists and HR departments of large organisations to offer information about the service and benefit the clinic offer by way of helping tackle alcohol and drug addiction.
As the role develops you will be involved with the screening of potential new patients to check they meet the required criteria and ensure the clinic can help.
As the UK office grows so will the responsibility of this role.
The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications are:
The ideal candidate for this position is a recent graduate with an interest in psychology, counselling and psychotherapy. This person should also be interested to take on a range of responsibilities, as listed above, and also be excited to join a small team responsible for building an entire business unit within a company that currently employs over 150 members of staff.
Desired skills, experience and personality:
Educated to degree level, degree subjects or modules relating to psychology, counselling or psychotherapy would be of specific interest.
A natural communicator who is comfortable liaising and dealing with a range of people from different backgrounds.
A clear and concise writing style.
Someone who would be excited by the prospect of helping build a new division of an established business.
Any prior experience in marketing or within the healthcare sector would be of interest.
Any personal exposure or knowledge of drug or alcohol addiction would be relevant life experience.
Fluency in a second language would be bonus, languages of interest include; Italian, Dutch and Arabic.
