The Job Role
You will join the business as a graduate legal search consultant. In the initial stages you will be responsible for head hunting key candidates, networking to maintain relationships and securing new clients. You will work alongside a senior consultant, providing a fundamental research function for the consultant, mapping the market and presenting your research back to the team through presentations and meetings.
To be a successful candidate you should be self motivated, tenacious, confident and driven. You should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the legal market place understanding the difference between Magic Circle, Silver Circle and the Top 50 Law Firms. A good understanding of the recruitment process and a sales background is preferable but not a pre-requisite.
Legal recruitment is a competitive, consultative industry focusing on high-end placements of legal professionals. Due to the calibre of the client, only candidates with a strong academic record and a University degree of 2:1 or above will be considered for this opportunity.
Trainees can expect to earn Â£45,000 in their first year with the top earners at the company taking home Â£300,000 per annum. The basic salary ranges from Â£20-25K per year ,dependent on experience.
