Office Manager – Virginia Water

The Role:

Working in a key position within a fast paced, highly commercial environment, the Office Manager is the real ‘go to person’ – this is a busy and varied role, so the successful candidate will need to be adaptable, able to juggle several different tasks and priorities at once and work both proactively and reactively.

-Manage the new starter induction, helping to set up new starters with IT, offering basic training on office policies and procedure, supporting new starters in their initial stages of employment
-Manage all HR activity at a local level – holiday, absence, changes and liaise with HR in head office
-Provide first class PA support including diary management, email management & preparing documents
-Providing admin support including preparation of reports, presentations, mailshots and general office maintenance
-Providing support in property related matters – chasing solicitors, engaging with designers and architects etc
-Facilities managements
-Financial admin- expenses, petty cash etc
-First point of contact for clients and head office
-Coordinating meetings and events

The Person:

-Previous experience in a similar role is essential – Team Secretary/PA/Office Manager
-Exposure to the property sector is highly desirable
-Excellent IT skills – Advanced Word, experience of mail merges, good Excel and PowerPoint
-Fast, accurate audio and copy typing
-Strong communication skills
