You will be responsible for:
Head hunting key candidates and networking to maintain relationships with clients
Securing new clients through business development
Providing a fundamental research function for the consultant
Mapping the market and presenting your research back to the team through presentations and meetings.
To be successful
You must have a degree, 2:1 or above from a Russell Group
Law degree is not necessary, but knowledge of the legal market place and an understanding of the Magic Circle, Silver Circle and the difference between private practice and in-house is essential.
Legal recruitment is competitive so experience of working in a competitive environment, for example playing sport to a high level
An interest in sales would be beneficial but not essential
Commercial awareness, any work experience in a corporate or legal environment
Trainees can expect to earn £40,000 in their first year with top earners taking home £350,000. As well as this, there are rewards for high achievers: lunch clubs, trips abroad, fun days, company card and pensions.
