The PR Account Director role supports the Campaign Director with managing and driving forward the campaign team by providing structure and guidance to the more junior team members. Key Responsibilities:·Leading team insight and understanding of the full range of media/communications disciplines including media relations, sponsorship, partnerships, promotions, content creation, experiential, digital/social, advertising, issues management and internal communication·Monitoring all public relations materials and documents that are produced by the team including media plans/critical paths, budgets and press releases·Leading on all proposal writing for new work and yearly plans·Providing advice and helping maintain momentum on press office·Working closely with the events, digital, media and studio teams on joint projects·Supporting and guiding the team with brainstorms and idea development·Undertaking on going and annual reviews with Campaign Director for the team and recommending promotions and supporting with recruitment for the team·Overseeing all client budgets and hours across the team·Helping generating new business leads and overseeing pitches for the consumer team

Client Relations

•Be responsible for relationship management with the client – including client retention, quality of service, organic growth, profitability and client satisfaction

•Show specific understanding of strategic business and commercial issues and be conversant with generic business issues (for example, legal, fiscal, and employment obligations)

•Have the confidence and trust of senior client contacts and be able to provide top level counsel

•Lead by example and, at the same time, maintain full control/knowledge over all activities being undertaken for each client in your portfolio

Financial Control

•Assume full fiscal responsibility for your clients: including personally authoring invoices; budget management; enforcement of company procedures for cost approvals

•Prepare accurate and timely forecast information when requested by the MD and keep this up to date

•Ensure client contracts are up to date and legally binding – reviewed on an annual basis, with fees revised for inflationary increases.

•Ensure that properly authorised purchase orders are received from the client before any work commences and are copied to accounts

Key Experience:•Line management experience with a proven track record of success when managing Senior Account Managers and Account Managers with the client/agency relationship •Oversee the Account Manager and Senior Account Manager to ensure results on all clients match or exceed expectations (including media relations)•Succesful deliverance of integrated campaigns for big brand clients
