A well-known West London based UK charity is looking for an experienced management accountant to business partner and support the specific fundraising directorate within the organisation.
This role will be looking for an immediate start and will be initially for a 6 month contract; with a possibility of permanent thereafter.
Reporting into the Head of Management Accounts, the main duties of the role include:
Production of the monthly management accounts with associated commentary
Acting as a business partner for the fundraising directorate, providing financial support and advice to the stakeholders budget holders
Play a key part in the financial planning through the creation of budgets and forecasts whilst reporting on performance and variances
Monitor the monthly and quarterly budgets and forecasts
Analysis of key financial data supporting the key business decisions of the organisation
Actively participate in working groups across the fundraising directorate and other functions; implementing and developing procedures
The successful candidate will be a CCAB qualified or with significant experience studying to the final stages of their professional qualification. You must have proven experience producing the monthly management accounts, budgets and cash control including analysing and commenting on variances. You must have a strong commercial focus with first class interpersonal and communication skills being able to business partnering with finance and non finance stakeholders. Strong systems experience is an additional pre-requisite for this role, with Sun Accounts and Vision experience would provide a distinct advantage.
