An oversubscribed and popular primary school based in the North London Borough of Haringey have got an urgent requirement to appoint a suitably qualified primary teacher to start as soon as possible. The position has become available because the current primary teacher needs to leave as soon as possible due to personal circumstances. They would like to appoint a good primary teacher in the next 2 weeks to ensure that there is adequate time for a good handover before the current class teacher leaves.
The role is for a primary teacher to take on a good Year 4 class of 28 children. They are mixed ability and come from a variety of backgrounds with a number of languages spoken in the school. They have a great relationship with the community, and the parents are always supportive of the primary teachers in the school. The children are well behaved and have been making good progress. As well having well behaved children, the school can offer a friendly and hardworking team of staff, a creative approach to teaching and learning, and bright, modern facilities. They also have good professional development opportunities to further your teaching skills.
The school are looking for an emotionally intelligent primary teacher who understands how children learn and are able to reflect this in their own practice. They want a primary teacher who is committed to the highest standards of attainment and achievement. The successful primary teacher must have a history of consistently good or better observations.
