Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an EA to support one of the most influential women in the country and well respected Chief Executive, who is also a member of the House of Lords. Working 3 days a week in London, and 2 days a week in Reading (travel and expenses will be paid), your duties will include:

Extensive diary management – Organising day to day company meetings, House of Lords sittings, votes and all related meetings, organising Board meetings and organising Broker, Advisor, investor meetings
Be able to make alternative plans, when major diary changes are needed at short notice
Working closely with the Chief Executive’s driver to ensure alignment on all diary details
Monitor and action 3 inboxes (all 3 inboxes have large volumes of emails daily)
Discern any urgent company issues and bring t to the Chief Executive’s attention
Prepare correspondence
Manage all travel and accommodation arrangements – domestic and international
Work in alignment with Director of Corporate Affairs and Director of Executive Affairs, to ensure external commitments are met eg speeches, government requests
Ensure Chief Executive has all relevant papers/background information for internal and external meetings (close contact with Company Secretary, MDs of the business, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs etc
Management for and on behalf of CEO, of meetings actions as they are agreed
Attend weekly Executive meeting to record then follow up on any action points
Manage any flow-on arrangements of meetings eg catering, a/v requirements
Works constructively with other PAs, internal and external, especially Group Finance Director’s PA
Report and resolve any IT issues (all devices)in conjunction with the dedicated IT Manager
Profile

The ideal candidate for this roles:

Have previously provided EA support to a CEO or other senor Executives
Have previously managed and extremely busy diary
Be able to work 3 days a week in London and 2 days a week in Reading (travel and expenses will be paid)
Create trusted relationship with the Chief Executive
Able to plan, implement, and deliver solution to exceed expectations
Resilience and ability to remain clam under pressure
Excellent communication an interpersonal skills
Good command of English – both spelling and grammar
Approachable, helpful and resourceful
Ability to prioritise and multi-task
Must be fast leaner, and adaptable within a matrix business
Able to work at all levels of staff and management
Ability to influence key decisions makers, and build relationships across the businesses
Abel to work unsupervised
Good IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Job Offer

On offer is a salary up to £50,000 + bonus and benefits
