The Education Network have a fantastic opportunity for SEND Learning Support Assistants to work within a lovely school that caters from early years pupils all the way through to Further Education in Dudley.
You will be working with children and young people who have physical disabilities, sensory impairments (i.e. hearing or visual), speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties such as dyslexia, conditions such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties. A key aspect of working in this field is responding to, the individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment. Experience in a special school is desirable, but a willingness to learn and a dedication to providing the best education for children and young people with SEN and Disabilities is essential.
You will be:-
NVQ Level 3 or Degree in child related studies
Used to working in an SEND setting
Able to provide support on a 1-2-1 or small group basis
Happy to get involved in all aspects of supporting children with SEND in the classroom
