Are you a Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Maths looking to make a real difference working with students with SEN? If so you could be exactly what we are looking for so why not call us to find out.
You will be working with a supportive school, working with year 10 and 11 students who all have barriers to learning. You may also be required to work with year 7 students that have a low ability in Maths and may not have attained the right level at primary school before entering secondary school. You will be required to work as part of a team within classes supporting the class teacher, but sometimes to work independently taking small groups out of their class working with them on areas that they find difficult.
You will be:-
Degree educated ideally in Maths
Used to working in an SEN or PRU setting
Able to provide support on a 1-2-1 or small group basis
Happy to get involved in all aspects of supporting children with barriers to learning
