Test Manager Delivery Manager Managed Service Agile A new opportunity has arisen for a Test Delivery Manager to join a thriving Managed Service business within an independent provider of IT infrastructure services. The Test Manager will be part of a new team launching a dedicated Test and Validation service line, which will run alongside the established Release Management offering. Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for the Pre-Production environment
Participate in Change Advisory Board meetings where necessary.
Communicate with internal technology teams and 3rd parties to understand impact of changes.
Work closely with internal Test team and Release Management / 3rd parties.
Ownership of Testing plans.
Produce process and procedure / run book documentation.
Produce KPI / SLA management reporting.
Contribute towards the longer term Testing strategy, collaborating with 3rd party suppliers and customers.
Work with Service Line Owner on strategies to expand and grow the service line.
Contribute towards continual service improvement best practices.
Support sales team with technical implementation knowledge and experience.
The Ideal Candidate
Good knowledge of IT platforms, equipment and desktop / server applications.
Previously worked in a structured environment such as ITIL, Agile, Waterfall
Experience of working with suppliers in a Managed Service context.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
Previous governance, managing and developing testing frameworks and best practices.
Proven history of innovative and creative solutioning.
Industry standard tools exposure, such as HP Quality Centre / ALM and SCCM.
Use of BMC Remedy for Change and Incident control.
