As Administration Manager you will be working as an integral part of our Partnership Affairs Department toensure we can effectively support our 165 Age UK partners to grow their business and improve their local services.You will enable the team to operate effectively by managing and reporting on its performance, finances and future departmental plans.

Suitable applicants will have worked in an administrative role previously and provided a range of support across multiple teams.

Duties

·Managing the overall administration of the Department

·Supporting the Heads of Department with diary management and other confidential support.

·Ensuring a good customer experience for people contacting the department

·Provide line management support to one team member

·Manage administration and co-ordination of projects, networks, services, partnerships and resource monitoring and distribution as well as data collection and project and programme reporting

·Develop and maintain administrative processes

·Create and compile effective statistical reporting systems, collate and analyse relevant information and produce risk and performance monitoring and reporting information as required

·Ensure the accurate and timely completion of Purchase Orders and monitor departmental budgets

·Arrange events and meetings

·Provide confidential support and diary management

Profile

·Experience of working in an administrative role providing a range of administration and support services across multiple teams

·Ability to develop and maintain administrative systems and processes

·Experience of staff management and of supervising volunteers is desirable

·Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to draft detailed and accurate written material

·Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise a range of tasks

·Good IT skills including advanced Microsoft Office.

·Good attention to detail

·Creativity including the ability to develop new administrative systems and processes for the department

·Ability to monitor budgets and resolve issues.

Please note that this role may involve occasional travel throughout the UK with some overnight stays.
