A group of hospitality, catering and event management businesses is looking for an immediately available candidate to join their finance team on a temporary basis during the busy festive season. Based at the company head office in Covent Garden, the position primarily consists of providing support to the Sales Ledger Controller.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Chasing outstanding invoices and taking payments over the phone
  • Agreeing balances by phone and email with the Senior Credit Controller
  • Updating notes on company database/booking system
  • Allocation of payments
  • Responding promptly to client and internal enquiries
  • Emailing of statements / copy invoices
  • Weekly meeting with the Senior Credit Controller
  • General administrative assistance

  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Able to quickly and flexibly adapt to a new working environment
  • Numeric and computer literate in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Organised and conscientious
